The house is situated in La Boucherie, a small village of 9 houses surrounded by farmland.

 

It is an old farmhouse with a rear garden of half an acre. There is a road at the front, but there is very little traffic as the only other building before the road ends is a barn.

 

There is ample parking on the quiet road in front.

 

The nearby town of Beaulieu sous La Roche has two restaurants, a bar and a small supermarket.  

There are larger supermarkets and a choice of restaurants in Aizenay, 4 miles away.
